what is your standard design lead time?
our design lead time is 3-4 days for initial 2d design, then 3-4 days for 3d design upon approval of 2d design.
what is your standard quote lead time?
quotes are provided 2-4 days from receipt of rfq.
what is your common lead time?
our common lead time from design approval to t1 sampling is 4-7 weeks, depending on mold requirements and part complexity.
what are your standard payment terms for tooling?
we request a 50% deposit with your order.  30% payment is due after t1 samples and the 20% balance is due 14 days after the receipt of the mold.  the freight amount will be invoiced in full after t1 sampling, and is payable prior to mold shipment.
what are your standard payment terms for molding?
standard terms for molding are a 50% deposit with order and the 50% balance is due prior to product shipment, including all freight costs.
what is your standard warranty for tooling?
tsl mold warrants the quality, workmanship and materials used in producing molds for a period of 180 days or 250,000 cycles, whichever occurs first, from the date of delivery of the mold(s) to the customer.  tsl mold will, at its sole discretion, repair or replace all parts determined to be defective as to quality, workmanship or materials.  warranty of parts replacement or repairs, shall, at the sole discretion of tsl mold, be provided (a) at tsl mold's factory, (b) by an independent repair shop hired by tsl mold, or (c) by the customer and invoiced to tsl mold.  the customer is solely responsible for mold design, design specifications and design approval. no warranty is provided concerning the design of the mold.  any failure of the mold or any mold components arising from or related to design is not warranted. 
what is your standard warranty for molding?
tsl mold warrants the molded products it produces to client design specifications to be free of defects in quality, workmanship and materials for a period of twelve months from the shipment date and will, at its sole discretion, repair or replace products determined to be defective.  this warranty shall not apply to breakage caused by product misuse.  tsl mold does not warrant the customer design or product defects or failure arising from customer design or design-related issues.  
are factory visits encouraged?
yes, we welcome customers to visit our facility and we will work with customers to assist in obtaining the necessary visa paperwork, travel plans, accommodations, etc.
